My photo journey

I´m an young photographer who trying to be ready with my camera as often as possible. I think that the key to success is to be patient and take a lot of pictures of things you think is relevant and makes you happy. My motivation for taking photos came to me when I was practicing on my fathers work. We were traveling around in Sweden an took photos of different buildings. I got the permision to borrow my fathers compact camera. But the time went on and we both inspired each other. Now we both using system cameras and chasing the right perspective to capture.

I´m Simon Pettersson and I´ve a big interest to capture those moments which I can see in front of my eyes. I´m located in south of Sweden and I was born in december 2003. I´ve used my camera and captured different things about a year and I love the feeling when you suddenly see a magical view through your camera lens. I like to capture the most things between wild animals to the most wide landscape view. The most amazing thing with photography is to be able to go back to those events you captured years ago, and in that case you don´t forget things you maybe wants to remember. With a camera in your hands, you can easily experience events more than once. I´m using a Panasonic Lumix G9 camera. With a bunch of different lenses. I use my Leica-lens, (12-60) at the most time. But I even sometimes use my zoom-lens and my wide angel-lens. It´s very useable when I capture photos on places there I need to get a wider angel or if I need to catch things higher up in the sky, like a majestic tree crown.
